Leepay Legacy stands as a tribute to the enduring memory of our beloved Phillipe George Marcellus. Born on April 5, 1992, in Broward County, Florida, Phillipe touched the lives of many with his passion for basketball and his unwavering love for his family and friends. As the middle child of his siblings Steven and Valerie Marcellus, and cherished by his parents Georges and Nadine, Phillipe's journey from graduating Piper High School to attending Broward College was marked by his dedication to his loved ones and his pursuit of personal growth.

Throughout his life, Phillipe embraced various roles, from his early days working at Broward Meat to discovering his passion for the art of cutting hair. As a barber, he became a beloved figure, touching the lives of many through his craft and the genuine connections he forged. However, above all, Phillipe's heart belonged to his daughter, Zaniye, who held a special place in his life as the epitome of a daddy's girl.

Tragically, on May 30, 2022, Phillipe's life was cut short by a senseless act of violence in Margate, Florida, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him. In the wake of this devastating loss, we, as his family and friends, have come together to honor his memory each year, gathering to celebrate the enduring love that Phillipe shared with all of us. His legacy lives on in the spirit of unity and remembrance that defines our annual gathering.
